                                                            Camp Overview

The Three Links Camp is a great place for individuals and groups to enjoy the beautiful Sierra forest in scenic Tuolumne County! Since 1958, when it was established by the California Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Fraternal Order, the Three Links Camp has provided a welcome retreat from the pressures of everyday life.

Open year around to members, the public and “children of all ages”, the Camp is located on 25 acres in central California. It is about 18 miles east of Sonora on Highway 108 in the Stanislaus National Forest, then about a ½ mile more on a gravel road. The Camp offers all the joys of camping without having to pitch a tent (but you can).

While the Camp rents to individuals, it is especially good for family reunions, community and social groups, meetings, weddings, etc. It has a multipurpose building with full kitchen and dining facilities, chapel, swimming pool, amphitheater and crafts building, RV spaces, tent spaces, and Dorm beds, all at reasonable rates.

At about 4,800 feet in elevation, snow helps create winter activities, with access almost always available. The Camp is a great place for snow play or to take advantage of Dodge Ridge (snowboarding/skiing), about 18 miles east on Hwy 108. Summer activities abound at or around the Camp including hiking and swimming. Beautiful Pinecrest Lake with fishing and boating available, is just 9 miles east.

Make the Camp your base for other points of interest, including Mi-Wuk, historical Twain Harte, Sonora, Jamestown, Columbia, and other areas to the west on or near Hwy 108 or Hwy 49. Activities and interests include dining, shopping, antiquing, classic trains, historic parks, etc., and all are within 30 miles or less from the Camp.

The Camp is overseen by an Board of Directors who are appointed by the Grand Master. The Board provides oversight and guidance for Camp operations according to its bylaws and government requirements, and meets on a monthly basis to take care of Camp business.

The Camp Manager reports directly to the Board.

                                                               Activities

Camp Festival
On the fourth Saturday of each June, the Camp holds a Festival that is open to members and the public, with a variety of crafts, used items, food and games. There is no admission charge. For a small fee, a BBQ dinner is also available that evening. The Festival caps off “Work Week” where-in leaders of the Order and member volunteers gather to clean up after winter, and make the Camp ready for the Youth Sessions held in July.

For those staying over until Sunday, non-denominational Chapel services are held in the “Chapel in the Pines” in which the current State Chaplains for the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs officiate. This closes the weekend and all prepare to head home unless some decide they must stay a while longer!

Youth Camp Summer Sessions
The Camp is a wonderful place for children who would not otherwise be able to have a camping/nature experience. Therefore, maintaining the Camp environment and continuing to provide opportunities for them is a high priority!

In July, three 1-week summer sessions are held for children ages 7-14. The Board works to keep the price as low as it can to enable as many children as possible to participate. Current weekly “Campership” fees are call. The children may participate in a variety of activities including swimming, arts and crafts, hiking and other related activities under the guidance of counselors.

Children and their families are not required to be members, but are generally sponsored through the various Odd Fellow and Rebekah Lodges around the State. For more information on how your child can participate, or if you have questions, contact Michelle Rosano

Our Junior and Theta Rho youth groups plan at least one trip to the Camp each year (usually in January) as a fun getaway and for bonding time. Snow activities usually figure into the equation as the Camp normally has a fairly good amount each winter!
