Camp Festival

On the fourth Saturday of each June, the Camp holds a Festival that is open to members and the public, with a variety of crafts, used items, food and games.  There is no admission charge.  For a small fee, a BBQ dinner is also available that evening.  The Festival caps off “Work Week” where-in leaders of the Order and member volunteers gather to clean up after winter, and make the Camp ready for the Youth Sessions held in July.

For those staying over until Sunday, non-denominational Chapel services are held in the “Chapel in the Pines” in which the current State Chaplains for the Odd Fellows and Rebekahs officiate.    This closes the weekend and all prepare to head home unless some decide they must stay a while longer!

Youth Camp Summer Sessions

The Camp is a wonderful place for children who would not otherwise be able to have a camping/nature experience.   The Board believes the summer sessions and Rebekah Children’s Services (RCS) trips described below are of great benefit to the children; therefore, maintaining the Camp environment and continuing to provide opportunities for them is a high priority!

In July, three 1-week summer sessions are held for children ages 8-14.  The Board works to keep the price as low as it can to enable as many children as possible to participate.  Current weekly “Campership” fees are $200.  The children may participate in a variety of activities including swimming, arts and crafts, hiking and other related activities under the guidance of counselors.

Children and their families are not required to be members, but are generally sponsored through the various Odd Fellow and Rebekah Lodges around the State.  For more information on how your child can participate, or if you have questions, contact Betty Stevens, Director at 831-384-9550 or at 831-320-2638.

In addition to the summer sessions, the Camp partners with RCS to bring some of the young residents to the Camp for a few days one or more times a year.  Many of the children have never experienced snow or the joys of nature by being in a forest before!  They are excited to come and hate to leave!
